It has set up highly replicable model schools from pre-primary to higher secondary in Ramgarh, Rajasthan imparting the finest education at minimum cost.
From 2000 to 2005 they built 200 Drinking Water Kunds (ancestral type) in which a total of one crore liters of pure natural drinking water from the rains is collected year after year in the remotest areas where no municipal water is available.
We had embarked upon the construction of check dams from 2006. In this field the Trust has been really successful as its constructions have withstood the test of time and the villagers who had initially contributed structures which have taken them to a new level of prosperity and self-sufficiency.

Mr Dilip Jeminis
Retd Commissioning Manager from Thermax Ltd. (Freelance Consultant)
“Life time achievement award recipient”
Mr Jamenis joined Wanson India Company in Pune in 1976 as a mechanical draftsman. While working on the job, he completed his Mechanical Engineering Diploma from GPP from 1976-1981.
Wanson (now Thermax) promoted him to Head of Construction Dept., where he worked for twenty years leading a team of engineers from various engineering disciplines . During the last ten years of his tenure with Thermax he worked as Head of Commissioning Dept till he retired in 2014.
The tough job of a commissioning engineer requires the knowledge of chemical engineering and process too. Commissioning inherently includes trouble-shooting too.
During his long tenure with Thermax he has commissioned almost all types of treatment plants. Viz Pretreatment (Clarification & Filtration) upto 6000 cum/hr, DeMin plants upto 1000 cum/hr. He has to his credit large capacity RO and industrial waste-water treatment plants based on MBBR technology.
However the feather in his cap is when he commissioned then the largest Seawater RO plant in India (2002) for Nirma Ltd in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The 150cum x 3 stream permeate capacity plant had pretreatment units, two stage filtration and three skids of RO membranes. The RO feed pumps were of 600 M head and 900 KW rating. Each unit was required to be fine tuned to achieve the optimum performance. This required infinite patience and hardwork , the qualities, which Mr. Jamenis has in abundance.
Starting with a humble background as a draftsman, he reached the level of Head, Commissioning Manager of a giant international environmental Company. An unsung hero , a water professional, needs recognition at the highest level AWWAIndia is honored to bestow on him the lifetime achievement award “for 40 years of service to the water industry as a dedicated water professional: Heartiest Congratulations sir. Mr Jaswant Mistry
Retd EE from NMMC
“Life time achievement award recipient”
Mr Jaswant Mistry has a bachelor degree in civil engineering from University of Indore in 1982. Most of his tenure, he has spent with two major prestigious organizations viz CIDCO Ltd and NMMC.
He joined CIDCO as an assistant engineer in 1983. and retired from NMMC in 1917 as an executive engineer. He has vast and varied experience of executing and commissioning large water supply scheme for both the organizations.
For CIDCO he has executed and commissioned Hetawane Dam water supply scheme of 150 mld.
For NMMC he has executed and commissioned Morbe Dam Water Supply scheme of 150 mld which supplies the water to Navi Mumbai.
His leadership skills and engineering courage were prominently displayed when he restored the collapsed old Pump house of NMMC Water supply scheme ( 300 mld) in only 60 days in the year 2009.
However the feather in his cap is Augmentation of existing Water Treatment Plant in 2010 at Bhokarpada complex from 300 mld to 450 mld with retrofitting the existing units with tube settlers and dual media filters . He executed the project in record 18 months without causing hinderance to the city water supply.
The plant was executed at 60% of the cost of a new plant of similar capacity. And He also saved the precious and costly land of NMMC. This, today is largest augmented plant in the Municipal sector in India. And has become reference center for new technologies in India for other organizations.
Simple by nature, friend off all, he is a tiger on the field.
